Help us Build a BETTER BLOCK!

Glass House Collective is bringing Better Block to Chattanooga on February 23, 2013. Over the past couple of years, cities across the nation have developed Better Block projects to support community-driven change in urban neighborhoods.

The physical streetscape will be transformed through do-it-yourself improvement projects such as addition of trees, landscaping, crosswalks, café seating and more. Vacant lots will be transformed into community spaces featuring public art. This exciting, daylong event will also feature pop-up shops, live entertainment, art workshops, community resource booths, food trucks, and a children’s activity zone.
