This Spring, thanks to a generous grant from the Sierra Club, the Southeast Conservation Corps will be constructing a new walking trail connecting Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park’s Pennsylvania Reservation on Glass Street to the park’s 50 acre Sherman Reservation just atop Missionary Ridge.
The Southeast Conservation Corps is currently looking for 16-18 and 18-25 year olds to for their Youth and Americorps Conservation Crews that will help construct the trail. Participants will learn valuable outdoor living skills, participate in educational activities, and take part in job training while earning money for the work they do! Americorps Crew members also receive an education stipend for the work they do.
