In May, over 200 adults and youth came together on Glass Street for the May Day Community Festival. Rebekah, from Moving Forward Dance Studio, recruited 2 bands, 3 singers, 3 poets, 1 mime, and an African Dance and Drum Troop to perform at the event.
East Chattanooga is hosting it’s very first Mardi Gras event on Saturday, March 8th at 4pm! The event will take place in Track Alley, located behind the community space and buildings on Glass Street.
The Good Neighbor Network decided on three focus areas to get to work on. They chose safety, beautification and community inclusion. The group collectively went to work on their first community inclusive kick-off coined ‘Sausage Fest’. Read more

Through the Good Neighbor Network (GNN), we’re focusing on the ways in which we can better support individuals who call the Glass Street community home. Even though gray clouds hung in an overcast sky threatening to wash out the Ladies of Endurance Community Day on Saturday July 27th at the East Chattanooga Rec Center, it didn’t stop the residents from coming out to have a great time. Read more
